We got together and discussed what goals we have for our personal writing over Christmas Break. What do we want to accomplish? etc. We will periodically post our goal updates during break.
Happy holidays!

O.o ... um, I'll be honest, I thought you wrote all those we talked about on here while we were at the meeting.
Anywho, I was going to amend my goals anyway. So, here's what I've got going over the holidays:
10,000 new words on Jaine. Hopefully this will be enough to set me on a path heading for the end-game. I really want to wrap this one up, put a bow on it, stick a fork in it, it's done. Still a ways off yet, but this should be a start.
Me and Scott will be wokring on a collaborative blog about the English Canon that I'm looking forward to posting, so that's another project to be working on.
I want to have an idea ready for the writing contest, even if it's just an elevator pitch.
Oh, and we also have to work on the fliers for the contest so we can get started posting those around sometime after the semester starts. This one is sitting on the back burner until I get some other things settled.
Good luck everybody!

Still hoping to get to the 10,000 mark before the first meeting of the year, but I need to get on it ASAP, as I've only got a little over 3,000 (yeah, I've been a lazy bum, but the holidays were more packed than usual this year.) The blog is coming along slowly, but I like what we've been making so far.
No ideas yet for the contest, but that particular goal is on the back burner until I get the Jaine goal reached.
How are you guys doing on your goals?

Up to over 6000 words on Jaine. I'm on target to meet the goal by Thursday. Still no idea for the contest, but the collaborative blog is coming along well if slowly.
How 'bout y'all?
