Hello! I am here! And I am writing. My uncle kinda got onto me for being on my laptop all day . . . but at least I wasn't locked in the my cousin's room all day. I finally have my Kingdom of Lacyrria story set! I had started and started and restarted the story so many times. Like six times. There were different scenarios going on and I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with the story, but now I have it! I'm so excited. Really. But I'm still deciding if I want to share this on my blog. We will see. But I have my story outlined and such, so I have been working! I was just still in the planning process.
Anyhow . . . I'm at 6,447 words! And I still have a long ways to go to catch up. I should be at 25,500 words. Yikes! That's okay though. I'm not going to let that stop me from writing till June 15.
Let's go guys!

Cranked out 5,850 words and complete Elijah, the last book in The Champion Trilogy. It feels very funny....

I'm at 8,240 words now folks! Just moving along from where I left off. Must write more for today. I have loads to catch up on. I'm also reading "The Sea of Monsters" by Rick Riordan, which is so much fun.

I've been terrible at this. Including all my articles and blog posts since this began, I've only gotten to 4,500 (I'm rounding up a little bit for the stuff I know I've written for the paper but can't find). I've got plenty of excuses, but they are just that: excuses. I'm going to try and buckle down and get some serious writing done, but then I said that at the beginning of this thing, sooo....
Anyways, hopefully some of this writing I'll do will actually be on Jaine soon. I'll update the totals.

I'm at 10,074 words now. Story is on the move. I'm on Chapter 2 of my story now, as of yesterday afternoon. I know what I want in the chapter, but I'm afraid I don't know how to start it. Argh. But other than that, I think that I've knocked writer's block out of the way for now. Also, I finished Sea of Monsters--FUN read. Now I'm reading Stardust by Neil Gaiman, and I am a bit disappointed -- no, quite -- that I haven't read this book at an earlier time. I think I've found another favorite author. Edward Cheever: You can DO it!

I admit. I haven't been writing since the day after my last blog post. We've been busy and out in the city in Las Vegas and I'm whooped by the time nighttime comes around. I have been writing music and playing the piano though -- which goes along with the story that I said I've been working on. Shame on me. My mind has been exhausted lately!

Well, I didn't write 45,000 words, but I wrote some -- 14,447 words. At least it was something. I'm still getting the hang of writing everyday. It definitely is a form of discipline that I need to master. For the next month, I think that I'll cut the number of words to write in a day down to 500 for me. I need to take it slow, then maybe one day I'll be able tow rite 1,500+ words on a daily basis.
I hope everyone got at least something accomplished on this writing challenge!
