I'm still working on details, such as judges.
We have all of our prizes arranged.
As far as judges, Dan Lamberton and Jerry Thomas say yes. Beverly Rumble says no (so we need some other suggestions to judge the essay category).
I am going to ask Stew Hardy to contact Rodney Vance about judging the screenplay category.

I've been trying to promote the website but I'm not sure if it's working... Myspace bulletins, pencils with the forum name on it. If anyone can think of anything else LET ME KNOW!!

The purpose of the contest is to draw attention to the Rough Writers, as well as identify any students who are potential members of the Rough Writers. We need to use word of mouth to promote both of them, but also articles in the Southwesterner, posters, and any other means we can think of.

We're down to just a few days left till the deadline. I have accepted about 10 submissions, and have returned one because it did not fit within the parameters of that section (too long).
I expect all of you to enter at least one item into this contest! I would if I could....

Tomorrow is the day! Officially all submissions are supposed to be in by 5 p.m. (which was the starting time for our weekly meeting before we changed it). I will give a full report when we get together at 6.
See you there!
