I hear the director is thinking about doing a sequel. Question: Does this film need or want one? Would a sequel ruin it, or make it better? Does this film work better without closure?
I think i would have to be convinced about the need for a sequel. I kind of liked the way it ended. it had closure, but you weren't sure at all what was in store for the character's futures. Besides, a sequel, after the success of the first film, would almost certainly lose its low-budget big-idea charm.
That said, I could be convinced, given the proper evidence.
I have a profound fondness for completely surpassing other's expectations of me.
