Man, today was weak for me. 1,286 words. My brain is scrambled today. I didn't even have the energy to post a blog. I'm calling it a night. Tomorrow I may be able to do more.

Today I am dedicating to school-related writing. Tomorrow I am staying home and finishing up Chapter 17 and trying to write Chapter 18.
I leave for vacation Thursday, so that will be it for me for a while.

I'm going to be e-mailing you the Letter of Recommendation Form, and I plan on getting in contact with Bob Gardner sometime this week. I want to see if I can get in the Teaching Certification program soon before I start the article. It'd give me a neat spin for the article. If I don't get in soon, though I'll just write it up regularly.
Anywho, have a great vacation!

Bit the bullet and wrote 5,076 words today, which takes me to 40,156.
I had hoped to break 40K before vacation. That still gives me hope that I can slip into writer mode sometime in the next 9 days and finish off the last 5,000 words.
I have finished chapter 18 of the book! It is beginning to wrap up, but surprisingly, I still don't know for sure how it will end.
Interesting.

I managed 2,001 words today. Still going slow. I've been in a writing funk for the past several days I'm hoping to break out of soonish. I think I need to get out of the house more regularly. I need some recharge time. Anywho... Edward Cheever II's Grand Total: 24,860 Glen Robinson's Grand Total: 40,156 I envy your grand word count. Also, I'm steadily making progress on my Elijah commentary.

Just keep plugging. We are back in Texas, but expect family in town as of tonight. I am hoping to sneak a few words in here and there, but I am down to the last four chapters of Elijah, so I want to put some serious thought into how I approach them.

Been sick today and yesterday. I'm hoping it blows over soon. I'm saving up these sick days for when I'm well enough again. Hope that's okay.

July is gone, and I will be starting my last trip of the summer tomorrow a.m. coming back late Friday night. I will probably put off finishing Elijah for a month or so until I get some other stuff out of the way. It will give me a chance to put some creative thought into how I will end my three-part opus.
Hope you are over your sickness. I will try to connect with you over the weekend.

"This is the way the world ends: Not with a bang but a whimper." - T.S. Eliot
Well, July's NaNoWriMo may have been tripped up by the various forces that figuratively (and literally) plague mankind's attempts at art. But we press on! O.o
While we could artificially finish this NaNoWriMo by setting a few days time for us to work, replacing the ones we lost during the month, I think we shouldn't. This should stay as a reminder that sometimes life stuff just gets in the way of our deadlines. Time to put this one on the shelf and move on, methinks.
